Zettawatts to Purchase Additionality RECs from Renewable Energy Projects To Support Supplier CFE

Zettawatts is seeking to buy Additionality Renewable Energy Credits ("ARECs") from renewable energy projects to be placed in service by 2028. This Request for Proposals ("RFP") aims to procure ARECs from qualified renewable energy project developers to meet demand from Zettawatts' corporate buyers participating in the Supplier CFE program . 

Procurement Details 

Zettawatts intends to procure ARECs associated with new renewable energy projects as follows:

• Volume:

Vintage	Required Commercial Operation Date (COD)	Volume of ARECs Sought (MWh generated per year)
2028	On or before December 31, 2027	50,000

• Term: 10 years. Other terms will not be considered.

• Price: AREC supply offers should be provided on a $/MWh basis.

• Price Escalation: no price escalation is accepted (fixed price over the term).

• Delivery: quarterly, as-generated transfers to Zettawatts within an acceptable REC registry upon payment by Zettawatts.

• Portion of project: Zettawatts will accept offers for either the entire output of a project or a portion thereof.

• Attributes: Zettawatts is seeking to purchase ONLY the ARECs from an awarded project. Respondents are responsible for securing offtake for all other attributes to be generated by the project (energy, capacity, ancillary services, etc.).
